Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 November 2026
Alavu is made by Praveen Juge. This policy explains what the app stores and why. The short version: your data is used only to run the app, it's never sold, and you can delete it any time.
What we store
- Account details. Your name and email address from Sign in with Apple or Google, used to sign you in.
- What you enter. Spaces, entries, categories, budgets, repeating entries, notes, and payment-method labels.
- Receipt photos you choose to attach.
- Usage data and crash reports, if you leave sharing on. These never include amounts, titles, notes, or category names, and you can turn them off in Settings.
Alavu does not connect to your bank and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Who processes it
- WorkOS handles sign-in.
- Convex stores your account data (in the EU).
- Cloudflare stores receipt photos and hosts this website.
- PostHog receives anonymous usage data and crash reports.
Keeping and deleting data
Your data is kept while you have an account. Delete it any time in the app under Settings → Delete Account. This removes your account, every space, entry, budget, and receipt.
